I'm 66 and still crank a good few miles on my roadie, I find that my hips hurt after a couple of hundred miles due to the seating position of cruisers. Just picked up a Honda ST for long distance riding and hopefully the more upright seating will help with the hip pain. Still love my roadstar

57. Started riding at 7 on my uncle's scooter. Stopped riding 15 years ago because I needed a car and never got back to it. Three years ago I had a heart attack. I had a lot of time to think about what was important. Surgery that evening, back to work the next day. Started putting things in order and one of them was to get back on a bike.

Here I am. No idea of time left any more, pretty banged up overall, but I'll ride until I drop. I won't be giving it back up again.

Re:Age 4 Years, 9 Months ago
I'm 38 and I've been riding street bike for the past 22 years and grew up riding dirt bikes and 3 wheelers. It wasn't even 3 weeks after my 16th birthday I bought a 84 Honda V65 Magna. A little over 2 years later I bought a Brand New Honda CBR 900rr. I had it for 3 years and the insurance was killing me in my early 20's so I traded it for a Honda Shadow 1100. I wanted a Road Star when they first came out and almost bought one, but my wife and I were just starting out and I couldn't talk her into it so I settled with a New 2000 1100 Yamaha VSTAR Classic. Traded in 05 for a Yamaha 660 Grizzly 4 wheeler. Worst mistake I ever made. I live in the national forest and thought I would love it since there are miles and miles of trails in which connect to my property. The ironic thing is I was looking on Craigslist for 15 inch tires for my trailer and I seen the AD for a 2000 Road Star with 16,000 miles and I just clicked on it to look at it and as soon as I seen it I bought it the next day. And that's when the obsession began. I've already put about $1500 in it and I can't stop modding it. By far the best bike I've ever owned thus far,but each had their own unique differences which I enjoyed.

Havent read all the posts, but I am going to raise the average age a bit. I will soon be 73 and been riding since the age of 12. Plan on quitting when I can no longer throw a leg over my 2001 Midnight *.

I'm 25 and have only had my Roadstar a year now. I been riding since I got my license! Mostly on Honda shadows and vstar's. I wouldn't sell my Roadstar for anything now! I'm hooked!
