So, went a different route obviously. I liked them when they were all souped up with cams and everything but was pretty disappointed with a stock 2015-16 steeet glide performance wise. Not sure about the passenger aspect but I feel like I have more room on the Electra glide than i did on my road star. My legs don't feel as cramped. I wouldn't mind finding one like Father_Po did for that price and use it for a solo second bike.. fully dress the R* and keep it decked for rides with passengers and long trips. I don't know how much of the history of the bike you know. If the cam chain tensioners haven't been changed or checked lately it needs to be done. You have to remove the cam cover, and then you can use a small dental mirror to check them. There is one on the inside, and outside of the cam plate. I'm pretty sure that 2003 has the Delphi EFI system (changed in 01 I think) this is a much better system than the older Margetti Marrelli EFI system that they used. That's a good looking bike that you got, and for a great price too. If you want to get rid of those looking covers on the crash bars, I would be willing to take them for you.
