Trying to get back into another RS… 1 Year ago
This one’s been online for 7 days. And has pretty high miles. Might see about looking at it and see what kinda deal I can get. I have a RSTD but have been missing two cylinders lately. Guess we will see!

That's a nice bike. If I were the owner I would get a different landlord though

Mustang seats, passenger floor boards, aftermarket grips, quick release windshield, and luggage rack. Seems to be some nice accessories. Although the saddle bags look a little weathered. Yeah I'd be moving not selling

I'd go there with $1500 cash and be prepared to walk away.....IF he says no, then I would wait a week and offer him $1750.

I have a RSV Midnight and a RSTC and missed the Vtwin feel and sound so I just one again before Thanksgiving. I definitely understand the "need" for both.....really wouldn't want to not have both the V4 and the vtwin...nice thing is that these Yamaha can be had dirt cheap if you do some shopping.

Definitely love the v4 for cruising long distance. The bike I am riding now was given to me from a friend who passed so it’s going nowhere. But I wouldn’t mind have a twin cylinder to run around town on from time to time.

What kind of landlord tells somebody they can't ride a bike? I can't imagine that the place would be so great, that I'd stay.

My first thought was noise? But It looks like a single family home with a carport.

My first thought was a rental complex that is maybe 4 plexes or the like and they don't allow MC's over so many CC's maybe? or at all?

That's not a bad price, I'd do as lug nut said, and if you don't end up liking it, flip it in the spring for $2500

My guess is the new landlord does not like motorcycles, and he is enjoying riding the new landlord more than the old bike

Re:Trying to get back into another RS… 1 Year ago
They said they were interested in taking a look at the trade deal I offered. And then she stopped texting me. Now its listed with an updated add for a couple hundred dollars more minus the windshield, bags, and passenger floorboards. Also no longer says how many miles are on it, just says it has “low miles” (67k according to the old add) and no longer mentions anything about her landlord. I texted the new number just a few minutes ago but nothing yet. Probably should take it as a sign to run away…
