Cruise control 7 Years, 9 Months ago
Have any of you guys installed a cruise on your bike? I miss mine! I have a Venture, and the Road* is lacking for long rides... I never thought I would use one until I bought a bike with one.. riding the Roadstar is kind of like driving a car without! I have heard that audiovox has a electronic one instead of vacumn!! Does any one know anything about this subject...

I've got the vacuum one on mine. Been thinking of "upgrading" to the electronic one so I can lose the vacuum canister, and regain my saddlebag back. I loved having it when I went to the M&G.

Universal throttle lock works for me, I have had it on the bike for over a year and never had a problem with it.

I've got suicide cruise on mine. Works great. Don't use it much, but it is nice to stretch the right hand out now and then.

I went on the Honda forum (VTXOA)and read how they did it and followed their installations. You need to figure out where to put the servo, and vacuum canister if you use the vacuum style. Take your time, and you can do it. Sorry, I didn't document any of the install.
