During that time a number of G.I's were coming down with liver problems, hepatitis, stuff like that. The Brass was concerned the Reds might be putting something in the water. So Dad became part of a study 'cause he was one of the many soldiers infected. After several months and untold tax dollars spent, the conclusion was soldiers drinking way too much German Beer.
