#859716 NANANANA (User) "Half guilty, Half insane" Platinum Boarder Posts: 1369 Stock Throttle Cable Length?? 3 Years ago   Well I have searched and searched, anybody know what the stock throttle cable length is for a 01'?? My bike came with risers about 8" and I'm pretty sure the handlebars aren't stock either. I measured the housing length of current cables and they seem to be around 41" basically not much over the vinyl plastic coating. This measurement I know will work for numerous road star years, just not sure exactly what years or models. I emailed 3 different dealers asking them what the stock length was and NONE of the 3 were any help and didn't know. One was Ron Ayers, Local dealer and Stadium, stadium never even replied. Thanks for sharing too. My bikes are tucked in a temporary winter storage (big frown) and didn't have quick access to measure. So went out and looked on my old cables and I could barely make out a part number, but they both were the exact part number I purchased. 65-0263 and 65-0264 both are 6" over stock length.   Logged     The administrator has disabled public write access.
