Broken saddlebag hinge 5 Months, 4 Weeks ago
Just did a 6000 mile ride covering 23 states, only problem was right side saddlebag hinge broke. Factory
hinges are no longer available and don't really want to go aftermarket bags. Have been looking for options
for the past week and haven't been able to find anything. Did find Mutazu bags that look similar to factory
bags https://mutazu-inc.myshopify.com/. Anyone know if their hinges work on factory bags or anywhere
else that's making them.

Not the rubber, the plastic where the pin goes through broke.

Sometimes you can find damaged bags on eBay or other sites.

Here's the part number. USA-4WM72-41-00 HINGE SET

Left and right are included.

Saw a couple parts houses that have them in stock. Most did not. $110 a set was the going rate.

Tried that, can't find anyone that has them in stock and they are unavailable to order. Had dealer
do a locate and only one dealer in US showed it in stock but when I called they didn't have them.
Part number is a US vendor that used to supply them to Yamaha, called Yamaha to find that out.

I used some masking tape to form a fill area to keep epoxy where it needed to be ( like pouring concrete ). Its been a couple of years so I don't remember how I worked around the pin but the repair is still in place. I thought maybe I made a new pin from some stainless filler rod but it's been to long ago to remember. Good luck, littlebull.

Are you looking for hinges from the factory hard bags?
If so, what year?
