#1020989 bcimino (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 23 Broken saddlebag hinge 5 Months, 4 Weeks ago   Just did a 6000 mile ride covering 23 states, only problem was right side saddlebag hinge broke. Factory hinges are no longer available and don't really want to go aftermarket bags. Have been looking for options for the past week and haven't been able to find anything. Did find Mutazu bags that look similar to factory bags https://mutazu-inc.myshopify.com/. USA-4WM72-41-00 HINGE SET Left and right are included. Saw a couple parts houses that have them in stock. Had dealer do a locate and only one dealer in US showed it in stock but when I called they didn't have them. I used some masking tape to form a fill area to keep epoxy where it needed to be ( like pouring concrete ). Its been a couple of years so I don't remember how I worked around the pin but the repair is still in place. I thought maybe I made a new pin from some stainless filler rod but it's been to long ago to remember.
