I see that this is a bicycle route, how are the roads? gravel or paved? lol I can do gravel I just prefer not to If I remember correctly, there was a very small section of the road that was kind of gravely, but not so bad that I didn't ride my $6500 rode bike on it, lol! At $75/tire, you don't take them off road too often, lol. That was like 10 years ago so I'd like to think it's fixed by now. Yeah, it's not a mountain bike trail, it for road bikes for sure. The section that they call "The Wall" after you peel away from the coastline is STEEP! So be careful there. Yeah I just goole mapped the route, and the area, it is funny but as long as I have lived in this area (I Used to live in whitethorn, just up the briceland thorn road lol) I have never explored that part of Humboldt County. I am pretty sure they have paved most of it by now. We had to do the ettisburg road one winter to get to eureka when a HUGE mudslide took out about a half mile of 101. With the wind chill here in Maine at 0°, and close to 2' of snow in the yard, it might be well after that date this year.
