Nice 70 degree ride today 3 Years, 3 Months ago
Rolled the ole girl out of the garage today as the temps were heading towards a high of 70 DEGREES here in S.C. Kansas! Nice 4 hour ride with a little 4 lane US highway, some 2-lane highway, and a lot of little local blacktops. Wow I needed that. Took the 16 year old daughter who is currently grounded and been couped up in the house with the rest of the family over Thanksgiving break. Any idea how much a 16 year old girl can talk (when they are not totally pissed off at the world) . The bike ride was the perfect answer. Putting the helmet on her was kind of like throwing a blanket over a bird cage. Everyone got 4 hours of peace . . . . . then the helmet came off again

77 here today. Just got back from the tree lighting on the square and driving around looking at Christmas lights with Jesse. Breezy, for sure, but nice to putt around in the dark without getting completely pounded by bugs.

45 minute ride in the mod 30s today to warm up the kid's Vulcan 800 so I could change the oil. It was black as coal and thin. Coolant is next.

Yeah, we had a couple really nice days. I got mine out yesterday for a while, too. It will be cold again tomorrow, but gradually improve during the week.

I'm jealous of all of you who can ride year round or at the least, most of the year. A foot of snow here on Wednesday, and a high temp yesterday of 29°, put a quick end to the season. I had to wrap it up in the corner of the garage till April.

Yeah I'm jealous too. I was spending time with my grandkids & great grandkids in Yuma, Colorado without my bike. I kept hearing all the bikes and seeing them on the way home Saturday!!!! Its Sunday and 20 degree's in Manhattan, KS now... yup just a tad bit jealous Mike. On the bright side, I fully enjoyed visiting with my grandkids!!!

I've had the week off work and its been in the 20s and low 30s. We're getting in the 50s today and dry until this afternoon. So I rode to Ind. to get bfast (there now) figure I can get a 100 mile or so ride in and be back before the rain. It's really nice to get back out on the bike again. Cold weather comes back 2mro, so it's kinda a one day shot.

I used the nice temps to get some Christmas shopping done - rode to Topeka and back (150 mile round trip) to get a $25 gift certificate for my brother in law
