Now that you've had them for awhile, what MPGs are you seeing?

Peace,
Joe

I don't know about the '08 models, but I finally logged a respectable 43 mpg yesterday. Much happier now.

Can't seem to break the 38 mpg, but as with my c50. I weigh in at 265 so I'm not getting what the 185's are. Price of fuel goes up much more maybe I'll knock the weight down

I think the only 2 people here who have 08s are Redbeard and 1steadyloser. You could PM them and ask. That way if this thread gets buried they will still see your question.

I haven't actually computed my mileage but I really don't think that it is significantly better than my 06 was before pipes and rejetting. Of course we lost some fuel capacity with the fuel injected models so if the range is close to the same as a pre-08 model then we are getting better mpg. I don't get the exhaust pop after shutdown with this new one, though.

Thats it, I'm going on a diet, I still got bags and trunk to add, let alone all the little do-dads. I sit on the low end of the scale on this forum and another with my c50. Tuna sandwiches and water I guess

I'm averaging about 37-39mpg but I'm a big guy (330lbs) and I do 99% of my riding in the city with some sub-10mi highway jaunts on the way to work or to friends' houses. I could probably squeeze out another mpg or two if I lost the windshield, and another 5-7 if I lost some weight
