Removed the exhaust to put in the baffles and repair a couple holes,.Built and installed my Roadwing, tightened up my Steering Head Bearings. Mounted my new Shinko 777 front tire. Started the rear and gave up, 3 patches on tube, and full of slime. Need new tube. Tore the anchors out of the floor too. Need new anchors for the tire changer and I am exhausted.

Will finish it this week. But it should be better when I am done. Got my new Kury Cruise control and my cup holder today as well.

Took my bike for a short 5 mile ride to see how it runs since I changed the pilot. I'm glad I did as bonehead me forgot to tighten the caliper bolts and I almost had it fall off. Note to self "DON'T BE IN A HURRY" I just rechecked every bolt that I could find! Tomorrow a nice run up into the foothills.

Installed a new ported intake manifold. The throttle response is great, and it gives me accessible torque at a much larger rpm range in every gear. Smoothed out the little bit of remaining popping and that 20-70mph range has tons more pickup now.

Took both of the rims off and disassembled the spokes to have the rims and hubs powder coated, new wheel bearing installed, new stainless steel spokes (Buchanan spokes) installed, and new tires mounted. Total cost of having this completely done by BVC is a little over $500.00. Will take pictures of when everything is done. I'm also putting in the blue springs on the gold emulators and new shock oil. If I had a heated garage, this would have been done during the winter here instead of now when I could be riding.

Mounted the new Klockwerks FLH fender, fixed gas leak and remounted tank and installed the new phase 7 headlight. Tomorrow I will mount the rear fender and bag brackets.

Took the passing lamp rig off. The housing rivets are coming loose and the left lamp ring set screw fell out. Again. Tired of dealing with them. Took it for a sunset ride for a little bit. Sunset in the west, moonrise in the east.

Cleaned it off. Killed some bugs, cleaned it off again. Killed more bugs. Put it away dirty and used.
