Unfortunately Tim, you're 100% right.
Apparently, everyone thinks profit margins on goodies from you is around 100% and it gets worse. Try to explain that you're NOT making much on the sale and they get downright insulting. The average American consumer is a completely arrogant ass who thinks they should get everything for close to free and nobody else should make any money providing what they want. The whole "I got mine so screw you" mentality. There are exceptions of course, but the idea of the average Joe Sixpack making it rich selling motorcycle parts out of his home is nothing short of downright idiotic.
