I didn't rent a spot yet but I'm working in town the next few days and plan to rent my spot. Are we set for Oct 6.7 and8?

I plan to pick a site right up in the main area near the cabins. The big spot they wanted us to rent would be cheaper and looks neat but it is down in a lower field and farther from the bath house. It could be a mess if we got rain. Don't forget they have some new simple camper cabins no water but heat and air and very small. I thought of renting one and running an extension cord from there to the pavilion. There are 3 of those in a group just past the regular cabins.
I've been having a hard time getting by there to check it out.

It doesn't sound like there are a lot of cabins right there. What is the closest hotel / motel to the park. Something with a shower and bedding that I do not have to haul with me.

It has lots of cabins with water, beds and the works. I think they have 5 0r 6 cabins and a small house plus the camper cabins.
