Ca. Smog garbage 1 Year, 5 Months ago

Just picked up a set of used forward controls for the R. I was checking it out and looks like the controls don't have any type of bracket or mount holes to attach that piece of garbage black can that sticks out on the shift side of the bike. Does anyone know if that canister has to be orientated on its side? Or can it be orientated in any direction ? Just thinking about where I might be able to mount this thing if I don't have room for it where it's sitting right now.

Throw that smog crap in the trash! I live in Cali too, I pulled off all the smog crap from my bike first week I had it!

Bigflip, I'm all about pulling the stuff off.Do you happen to have hose diagrams or anything ? I mean I just can't pull the stuff off without rerouting things correct? I hate that black thing on the bike.
