Cobra 2 into 1 opinions 9 Months, 1 Week ago
Ok, so I'm about this close to pulling the trigger on a set of Cobra 2 into 1's. I've talked to 129drifter, and he really likes his, but then I just talked to MJSCORE and he said he heard that some people thought the sound that they've experienced was the blap, blap, blap sound.

I'm currently running the 3" Hard Kromes and I hate the sound. They're very tin sounding and that blap blap blap sound. I've installed the Smartpartz Baffles that seemed to help at idle, but when you give it a handful, it's the same thing. Blap blap blap.

I've ridin with MJ and he's running the Freedom duels and they sound awesome. I'm looking for more of that lower pitch sound. I really can't go duels because of my bike being lowered and running 2 up alot. I don't want to get into scraping the hell out of the tips all the time.

I was thinking about the 2 into 1 Cobras, because I like the looks, I get the clearance, and I heard they improve performance. The only thing I'm concerned about is the sound

Can someone else chime in on their experience with Cobra 2 into 1's ? I don't want to be forking out more $$$ for something I'm going to regret.

I love mine good quality. I put smartpartz baffle in it, sounds better than my sons with the long shots. Not as loud.

I love mine. The sound is great and a bit more performance is a plus. I think they sound as good as the V&H and a lot less expense.

I think the sound of Drifters, is almost identical to my Roadhouse 2 into 1. I thought it was well made.

It looks like there is room to wrap the baffle if you want to quiet it up a bit. Nice looking pipe.

I appreciate everyone's input, but because I liked the sound of the Freedoms so much, I went ahead and bit the bullet and paid the extra $$, and bought the Freedom Combat 2 into 1.

From everything I heard and read online, I think that would be my best bet.

All be it, I have to sign my life away because of freaking California emission crap with a waiver that I'm only going to use them off road, I hope to have them in about a week.

I'll update once I get them on and fire her up.

Thanks again !!
