Mike,
I can tell you if your thinking about tunes, it makes a huge difference on windshield height and seat level. I couldn't believe how much better I could hear my stereo on the "B" when I put the lower seat on it. Like night and day. I can hear the thing no problem at 70 on the Freeway vs I couldn't hear crap before I lowered the seat. Can't wait to see your bike when she's done.

I have one on my 2006 and put one on a Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad i had. One was Wide Open Customs, which came with the radio and speakers, and this one is a two piece and don't remember who made this one as it was second hand. Both are great, but i have to say the one thing i liked about Wide Open Custom was the fact it was one piece. That also made it harder for adding anything other than a compact amp when putting juice to the speakers.

went with reckless with all the bells and whistles,4 speakers with amp I also added a very small pilot light to the hot side of power switch to remind me it was on. The power switch is mounted on the lower left side and if you leave the power on it will zap your battery.... all in all it's one of the best investments I made... able to hear music at highway cursing speeds + , V&H long non baffled shots.... plenty of choices for your music input.
