slowpoke ...... that's the same as mine except I took a pic of the single lever setup.

Yours does however clearly illustrate how the splined shaft is part of the shift lever on the pre 06 models.

Wow, I've said it once and I will say it again, you guys are awesome!!! The lenghts y'all go to just to help a brother out is most gracious! Thanks for all the great info!
