A New York Public Library website

This exhibition, funded by a generous grant from the Dorothy Loudon Foundation, presents a digital preview of just a small portion of the many treasures preserved in the Dorothy Loudon Papers at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts. More items will be added to this collection over the next few months, but a full list of items, many of which we will be unable to digitize, is available in the “Finding Aid” section of this website. The digitized material is presented either with the generous permission of rights holders or by exercise of the fair use exception to copyright law. Those wishing to use content found in this exhibition may need to obtain permission from the relevant copyright owners. Researchers must make their own assessments of rights in light of their intended use.

If you have any more information about an item you've seen on our website or if you are the copyright owner and believe our website has not properly attributed your work to you or has used it without permission beyond the bounds of fair use, we want to hear from you. Please contact takedown@nypl.org with your contact information and a link to the relevant content.
