New York Vacation

Dublin Core

Title New York Vacation

Document Item Type Metadata

Text I think my first visit to NYC was with my family. It must have been 1962, so I was 9 years old because I remember Marilyn Monroe died and all the news vendors were hawking newspapers. I'll always remember eating at an automat--what a fun thing for kids to do. I saw your exhibit of menus on a visit to New York--2000. My parents visited NYC a lot and always enjoyed going to the famous restaurants. As a dietitian I'm always interested in food--and eating. Thanks for this exhibit and for putting it on the internet so those of us who can't travel can see it.
