Methodology for cost benefit analysis for the use of BIM in public tenders

Ex-ante publicity for a middle-value contract between EUR 60,000.00 and EUR < 139.000 €

The purpose of this contract is:

  1. to develop a model to measure the costs and benefits (both monetary and non-monetary) of using Building Information Modelling (BIM) in public construction projects;
  2. to demonstrate the practical usage and relevance of the model developed with case studies; and
  3. to develop informative material for public authorities wishing to learn about the BIM cost benefit analysis and its use.

Estimated amount: 120 000 EUR

Period of execution of the contract: Approximately 9 months from its signature.

Estimated launch date (sending out the invitations): 28 April 2020.

All economic operators interested in participating in this negotiated procedure may express their interest by e-mail to not later than 23 April 2020 at 17h CET Brussels time.

Economic operators who do not express their interest before the deadline and to the address above will not be invited to submit an offer.

The expression of interest message should not include technical or financial elements of your future offer. Only candidates that will be directly invited at a later stage by EASME to submit tenders may participate in this procurement procedure.
