SpilLess: Native microorganisms and autonomous vehicles to combat oil spillsOil spills are one of the most damaging causes of maritime pollution. They can often turn into environmental disasters, endangering the lives of several marine species. In order to combat them, the EMFF-funded project "SpilLess" developed a system to clean sea from oil in an environmental-friendly and cost-efficient way, through the use of bacteria.
