This was the focus of the third in a series of five workshops on business to government (B2G) data sharing in cities. Helsinki, Rennes Metropole and Milan shared their experiences, followed by an engaging discussion with around 30 European cities.

Evaluation study of the Regulation no.910/2014 (eIDAS Regulation)

Article 49 of the eIDAS Regulation requires the Commission to review the application of the Regulation and report to the European Parliament and to the Council no later than 1 July 2020. This study supports the report to the European Parliament and Council. It assesses effectiveness, efficiency, relevance, consistency and EU added-value of the eIDAS Regulation through an assessment of results and impacts of its implementation.

Commission seeks views on data sharing

The European Commission has launched an open public consultation on the announced Data Act aiming to create a fair data economy by ensuring access to and use of data. The consultation seeks to gather views from citizens, businesses, online platforms, academics, civil society, administrations and all interested parties. It is open until 3 September.
