New European Partnerships launched to deliver on the EU's ambitions for the Digital Decade

To boost research and innovation investments in digital, the Commission has launched new European Partnerships together with industry and academia, under the Horizon Europe programme.
The Partnerships will pursue innovative solutions on a large scale, pooling in efforts, resources and investments which will generate long-term positive impact, boost European competitiveness and technological sovereignty, as well as create jobs and growth.

Horizon Impact Award 2020 contest opens: apply by 2 April 2020

The European Commission has launched the 2020 edition of Horizon Impact Award – a prize dedicated to EU-funded projects whose results have created societal impact across Europe and beyond. The prize acknowledges and rewards the most influential and impactful project results under Horizon 2020, the EU research and innovation programme, and its predecessor, the 7th Framework programme (FP7, 2007-2013).

"Project to policy kick off seminar" for security research

This "Project to policy kick off seminar" (P2PKOS) aimed to raise awareness at 2 levels. On the one hand projects funded under the Horizon 2020 Societal Challenge 7 call needed to better understand the EU policy landscape in areas such as digital security, protection of critical infrastructure, border management, crime and terrorism or crisis management. On the other hand, EC policy officers working on various security related areas were interested to get a deeper knowledge of the security research project portfolio and how projects findings could impact and support their policy making work.
