Assistance to innovation procurement projects

EAFIP provides local assistance to selected public procurers in the preparation and implementation of a PCP or PPI procurement, covering for instance scoping an already identified procurement need that can be tackled with innovative solutions, preparing and conducting an EU wide published open market consultation and drafting tendering documents. During 2021-2022 new projects that aim to procure innovative ICT-based solutions get the opportunity to apply for free assistance. New calls to apply for free assistance will be published every three months. See below the scheduled calls and corresponding deadlines:

Selected projects

Since the start of the EAFIP-initiative in 2015 already 21 projects procuring innovative high tech ICT-related solutions have been selected to receive free technical and legal assistance.

During the period 2015-2018 12 projects were selected and received assistance to their innovation procurement project. During 2019-2020 the another 9 public projects regarding high tech innovative ICT-related solutions have been selected to benefit from free technical and legal assistance.
