Art and the digital: unleashing creativity for European water management

This call aims to unite the digital with the arts in order to promote a European policy vision on the future of water and to help raise societal awareness on water use. Artistic residencies in companies will help inducing a change of mind-set and novel ideas regarding the preservation of water resources. Consortia will propose concrete ideas at the nexus of art, digital, and water that will lead to a sustainable set of actions and a burgeoning community. Links to existing initiatives like STARTS and Digital Innovation Hubs are encouraged.

Preparatory Action on Media literacy for All - Call for proposals 2020

The call aims at boosting media literacy in Europe through pursuing innovation and collaboration across media literacy communities within the EU, including by building on and scaling up existing solutions. Innovative strategies are sought, to inform citizens of disinformation and to promote a responsible use of communication channels offered by social media. The tools and activities proposed should directly or indirectly benefit the target group of citizens of all ages lacking media literacy skills and in particular the skills needed to critically evaluate content accessed via social media.

H2020 Content4All project receives prestigious Technology Innovation Award at the Broadcast Engineering and Information Technology Conference

CONTENT4ALL, a H2020 project, has been awarded the prestigious NAB Technology Innovation Award. The project aims at automating sign language interpreting using novel technologies and AI algorithms. The NAB accolade rewards organizations that bring advanced technology exhibits presenting advanced research and development projects in communications technologies that have not yet been commercialized.

Digital European Platform of Quality Content Providers - Pilot Project (2019-2020)

The main objective of this Call for Tender (1st year) is to acquire a feasibility study setting out the viability of creating a European online platform for the creation and distribution of news and/or content of general interest. The study should help European policy makers assess the long-term sustainability of such a platform through identifying the features that it should have in order to become a relevant player in the European media ecosystem and the major operational, financial and technological risks that the creation of the platform would face.
