Because the Hillman Photography Initiative is a community resource provided by the Carnegie Museum of Art, one of the four Museums affiliated with the Carnegie Institute d/b/a Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, the Privacy Policy of the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh governs your use of the Site and we urge you to carefully review that Privacy Policy.

The Information the Hillman Photography Initiative Collects

The Hillman Photography Initiative collects personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) that you voluntarily provide on-line when you use the Site.  “Personal Information” is any information that identifies you personally, either alone or in combination with other information available to us.  Examples of “Personal Information” include your name, likeness, address, e-mail address, telephone number, or age.  An example of when you may voluntarily provide such Personal Information to us is when you create a User Account and/or become Registered User which allows you to submit and/or post User Content for certain projects on the Site.

We may post and/or otherwise distribute, display and/or use your name, any organization or company affiliation, and/or contact information in connection with any User Content or other submission you submit to us and/or post on  the Site. 

Links to Third Party Websites

The Site may include links to websites, products or services that the Hillman Photography Initiative does not own or operate and which are not related to the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh or its affiliates (“Third Party Site”).  Once you leave the Hillman Photography Initiative Site or any of the projects contained on the Site, this Privacy Policy no longer applies.  We encourage you to read the privacy policy of these Third Party Sites before providing Personal Information to those sites.
