Thailand Trade Show

At its inception, Northlands was committed to providing trade information to a specific demographic. While these agricultural shows were open to the public, most of the people who came were heavily invested in that sector. With Northlands’ expansion, and the urbanization of the surrounding market, the organization had to diversity its trade show offerings.

Some of these are of general interest to the public, while others are designed to meet the needs of a specific audience. Consumer shows, then, are open to an interested public.

Trade shows, on the other hand, typically are not. Rather, these are opportunities for industry players to make purchases and to network amongst themselves.

The immensely popular Alberta Gift Show, Western Canada’s largest, has been an attendance magnet at Northlands for the past 20 years. Over 18,500 people – most of whom are commercial buyers - toured the exhibits in 2001, taking advantage of the chance to purchase everything from bedclothes to books. The Gourmet Food section of that event is also popular, with dozens of companies providing samples for everyone to enjoy.

The Allied Beauty Show, another geared feature, brings together aestheticians and other professionals from around the region. Related events include contests, hair styling information, and seminars on everything from the dangers of nail diseases to the latest in fashions.

Alberta Gift ShowThe ISA Instrumentation Show and the Trends Apparel Show follow similar formats, offering both commercial and educational opportunities to attendees knowledgeable in their respective fields.

All of these trade shows and their related exhibits are hosted at the Northlands AgriCom, which is just one of the many Northlands-maintained buildings having a large and positive impact on businesses surrounding the grounds.
