Advancement Services
At the very foundation of External Relations' fund development and alumni programs is Advancement Services. This unit is committed to building effective relationships with campus partners and external clients. Its mission is to provide the information, support, and services needed to advance the fundraising and friend-raising goals of the University of Alberta. It provides the University's gift processing services, manages a database of donors and alumni, provides alumni and donor data analysis and reporting, undertakes detailed research on prospective donors, provides information systems support, and administers the prospect management committee and related processes. Advancement Services achieves this mission through the professional services of the following units:
