Closed Cabin

Junker-Larsen aircraftThe Junkers Larsen 6 aircraft was popular because it was made of durable aluminium, had a powerful BMW III-A engine, and boasted an enclosed, larger cabin. This was particularly important to pilots who were flying into the northern country during winter conditions.

After the First World War, German aircraft designer and manufacturer Hugh Junkers, developed his monoplane for passenger transport.

The aircraft could seat six people, or the equal amount of weight, in its closed cabin. The cabin was larger than most other aircraft at the time.
