American Radio

Several of the station's most popular shows in the '70s were derived from American producers. DeKoven, featuring Seymour DeKoven from New York's Fordham University station, WFUV, was an early proponent of classical music coverage, focusing on the Barococo era between 1640 and 1750. CKUA also broadcast Studs Terkel's interview show from Chicago.
