Speaker of the Week was a weekly
programme which collected and broadcast public addresses by notable
persons from all walks of life. Albertan, Canadian and international
politicians and political thinkers, scientists, entrepreneurs,
environmentalists, native leaders, philosophers and sports heroes were
just some of the features speakers in this series which ran for
approximately 15 years, from around 1980-1995, as a public service.
