The Founder's Day Tea

In 1912, the first graduating class of the University of Alberta took afternoon tea at Rutherford House. There were eighteen graduates, five of them women. For the next twenty years graduates of the university would have tea here, and remarkably, each entire graduating class would be accommodated in these elegant, but by no means spacious, surroundings.
