Missions and Faith

The early missions led to larger settlements. Some of these settlements became permanent. Others moved or were abandoned. These notes tell of the mission settlements at Lac Ste.-Anne, St-Albert, and St-Paul des Métis. The St-Paul des Métis settlement continued and grew with new settlers arriving from different areas of the world. This section closes with some transcriptions from settler oral history.
