Education Changes – New Opportunities

As French language rights were asserted and developed in the last half of the twentieth century, the school system for the Métis and other Francophones changed. The shame of the residential schools was ended, if not healed. The schools that developed were more aware of the cultural needs and rights of their communities.

These notes give some history to the St. Paul area schools, and the prestigious Campus St-Jean.
