Other Real Estate Boards

There are a total of 11 regional real estate boards in Alberta, which are all member boards of the Alberta Real Estate Association. They are:

Many these real estate boards are small and operate on a volunteer basis.

The Medicine Hat Real Estate Board, located in Medicine Hat, serves 161 REALTORS® in nine offices in and around Medicine Hat. Their 2009 president is Ellen Baba and their website can be accessed here.

The North Eastern Alberta Real Estate Board, with their headquarters in Cold Lake, represents 78 REALTORS® located with 14 brokerage offices within the City of Cold Lake, the Towns of Bonnyville and St. Paul, the Village of Elk Point, and surrounding areas. The North Eastern Alberta Real Estate Board was founded in 1980 and their 2009 president is Rusty Smith. To learn more about this real estate board, visit their website here.

Located in Red Deer, the Central Alberta REALTORS® Association is a large board representing over 650 REALTORS® within 60 brokerages across Central Alberta, in Rocky Mountain House, Settler, Sundre, Camrose, Red Deer, and other settlements. Their 2009 president is Derek Austin and their website can be accessed here.

The REALTORS® Association of South Central Alberta represents a small territory bordered by the territory of the real estate boards of Calgary, Lethbridge and Medicine Hat. The REALTORS® Association of South Central Alberta is headquartered in Brooks. Their 2009 president is Creitia Morishita.

Just south and of Brooks lies the territory of the Lethbridge and District Association of REALTORS®. This association represents REALTORS® in the area around Lethbridge including settlements such as Cardston, Taber, Crowsnest, Pincher Creek and the Waterton Lakes area. Audrey King is the 2009 president of the association. The Lethbridge and District Association of REALTORS®’ website, which is only accessible to REALTORS®, is located here.

In the most north eastern part of Alberta, the Fort McMurray REALTORS® Association represents a large area called the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo which includes Fort McMurray, Fort Chipewyan, Anzac, Conklin, and other settlements. Their 2009 president is Colin Hartigan and their website can be accessed here.

The REALTORS® Association of Lloydminster and District represents a small region bordering Saskatchewan. The association is headquartered on the Alberta side of the cross-border City of Lloydminster. Their 2009 presidents is Harpreet Saini.
