Alfred and Mary Laboucane

Alfred and Mary LaboucaneAlfred Laboucane was one of the people who came to live at Saint Paul des Métis. He and his wife Mary farmed east of the settlement. He was born December 22, 1884 in Duhamel, known then as Laboucane Settlement. Laboucane was a Métis community near the present- day Camrose.

They raised their many children on the St. Paul farm. Laboucane is one of the founding names of the Saint Paul community.

They both passed away in St. Paul in mid- 20th century.
