Pam Nagai

Pam Nagai started her career in the food and beverage industry, but she was drawn to real estate as a stable source of income. In 1972, Pam Nagai broke ground as the first female real estate broker for Melton Real Estate in Alberta, one of the leading firms during the 1970s real estate boom. She was also new to the industry, and many of her male colleagues were not ready to accept a woman in her position. But Pam Nagai persevered and became a successful REALTOR®.

In October of 2005, Nagai was given a 35-year longevity aware from the Calgary Real Estate Board; she was honoured as a pioneer of the industry.

Nagai continues to work in real estate, currently with Royal LePage Foothills, in Calgary.
