CKUA Radio Network Inc. avec l’appui financier de Alberta Historical Ressources Foundation a développé une série de vignettes documentaires sur des sujets historiques. Ces vignettes ont été préparées par l’auteur pigiste et réalisatrice Cheryl Croucher qui présente cette série suite à des recherches approfondies et des entretiens détaillés, dans des charmantes vignettes éclectiques de trois minutes. La série a été numérisée par Heritage Community Foundation, en partenariat avec CKUA pour créer les CKUA Sound Archives, une partie importante de l’Alberta Online Encyclopedia – www.albertasource.ca. Les Heritage Trails qui suivent ont été choisis pour l’information qu’ils donnent sur les Oblats dans l’Ouest et le patrimoine francophone.
