Long Rapids

A series of rapids in the Athabasca River are closely grouped together and called by the Cree kaukinwauk pastiche or rapids without end. William Ogilvie's geological report of 1884 refers to the Long Rapids. They are either the Noye or Brule Rapids noted on Father Petitot's map of 1883.

In Athabasca River approximately 38 km west south-west of McMurray.
