Atkinson Creek

This creek is named after John Atkinson (1874-1950) who came to Canada from England in 1904 to work for a horse breeder. He homesteaded in the Horse Creek area for several years until he became a Dominion Forest Ranger in 1915. He retired in 1935 and moved to Calgary. |
