A to Z Outstanding Alberta Volunteers
Divider

Quicklinks

They are persons who come from different cultural, ethnic, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds. Some come from large urban centres, while others come from small rural communities. Some were born in Alberta, while others moved to the province and took up permanent residence here. Some wield the restless energy of youth, while others harbour the experience and wisdom of age.

While their personal stories may differ, one thing these individuals share is a passionate commitment to community. All included in this A to Z Outstanding Alberta Volunteers list are distinguished for their tireless efforts to lend a helping hand to those who needed it most. All are volunteers who inspire.

The following A to Z Outstanding Alberta Volunteers are a ‘tip of the iceberg’ glimpse at Alberta’s spirit of the west volunteerism and are an acknowledgement of the enormous contributions volunteers make to our province. They are but a few examples of the extraordinary people over the past century who have given freely of their time and talents to change their communities for the better.
