Abbot Pass

This 2922 m pass was named after Phillip Stanley Abbot, a member of the Appalachian Mountain Club. He fell from the steep mountain slope of Mount Lefroy on 3 August 1896 and died adjacent to the pass.

Approximately 55 km west north-west of Banff, on the Alberta-B.C. boundary.
