Eagle Hill

Category : Hill

The name Eagle Hill has been in use since 1904 when the post office and school of that name were established. The hill itself may have been known as Eagle Hill by the native Indians long before that. The name is thought to have originated from an eagle nesting on the tree-covered hill. (Some sources say more than one eagle, while others say someone probably saw an eagle fly over the hill.)

Approximately 20 km west of Olds.
