Adolphus Creek

The origin of the name of this creek is not clear. Some sources claim that it is named after Adolphus Moberly (see Adolphus Lake). Others maintain that it does not have the same origin as the lake. Adolphus Agnes was an early settler of the Grande Cache region. This creek may be named after him. The Agnes family originally came from Lac Ste. Anne about the beginning of the twentieth century.
