Future Directions

Genetically Engineered PlantsAlberta is looking to the future when it comes to sustainable resource development. The agriculture industry is based on renewable resources, and Albertans need to be concerned about more efficient ways to use their renewable resources in place of some of their non-renewable resources, such as hydrocarbons

All Albertans should be aware of the issues surrounding sustainable growth. Without sustainable growth, there would be no resources to develop. Both the government and private agencies are always on the lookout for better ways to make use of resources so Albertans can continue to enjoy the same standard of living as that to which they have become accustomed.
