Learn why Alessandro Urso decided to emigrate from Italy and listen as he describes the journey, by boat and train, as well as his arrival in Quebec and subsequent job search. As a recent graduate, he has excellent job skills, but has no English and school French. The assistance provided by Canadian immigration authorities does not help him to find work but he is resourceful and quickly finds employment, though not in Armstrong, Quebec, which was the town chosen for him by the Canadian government.
