Boreal Highlands Climate

A snapshot of the climate of the Boreal HighlandsClimatic data are scarce for this Subregion but conditions appear somewhat cooler and moister than the Central Mixedwood Subregion. May to September temperatures average around 12 degrees Celsius but the winter temperatures are likely colder than the Central Mixedwood. May to September precipitation is about 265 millimetres, which is slightly greater than the Central Mixedwood and is due mostly to more rain in July and August.
