The Athabasca Plain Climate

A snapshot of the climate of the Athabasca Plain Climatic data are scarce for this Subregion. However, the climate can best be characterized as having a warm, moderately dry summer and long, cold winters. The mean May to September temperature is about 13 degrees Celsius and precipitation for this period averages near 300 millimetres.
