Estonian Handicrafts On Display

Understanding and appreciation for the varied cultures, skills, customs, habits, and traditions of Calgary's many ethnic groups will be increased and promoted among Canadians by a display project organized by the Calgary Canadian Citizenship Coucil in co-operation with the T. Eaton Co. Canada Ltd. The department store agreed to put a special window at the disposal of one of the groups to feature their exhibits for one week each month. The Calgary Canadian Estonian Club opened the series with the above display this week showing such exhibits as colorful national costumes and leather handicraft work.
