Each person within every cultural community in Alberta has a different story to tell. You often only hear
about individuals who keep or have kept higher profiles. Quite frequently these people are politicians,
artists, and other community organizers. However, the people you don't hear about so much, your friends
and neighbours, have equally interesting backgrounds. In our Profile sections we have attempted bring to
you the stories of Albertans of various ethnic backgrounds. In their own way, each has made an impact in
their community of ethnic origin and Alberta as a whole.
